STS ANALOG – OPEN REEL TAPE EDITIONS
All open-reel releases are produced from original STS master recordings.
The master recorder used is the Philips EL3503, while duplication is carried out in real time on Philips N4520 machines to ensure maximum fidelity and preservation of the original recording quality.
Tape formats available:
- 38 cm/s (15 ips), 2-track stereo on a 26,5 sm special red aluminium reel IEC equalization (NAB available on request).
- 19 cm/s (7½ ips), 2-track stereo on an 18 (or 26,5) sm plastic reel.
Each tape is produced with great care to deliver the dynamic range, tonal accuracy, and spatial realism that audiophiles expect from true analog recordings.
